Kia ora, I’m Nik. I started Web Smart HQ in Auckland in 2022 for small businesses who want a good website and to show up on Google, with one person they can talk to and no contract to get stuck in.
I do every part of the work myself: the first chat, the quote, the design, the build, the Google profile, and the updates after launch. You always deal with me.
Everywhere else on this site you’ll read “we”. That’s Web Smart HQ. It’s still me.

Small, steady and in plain English. Here’s what you can expect from the first email to the years after launch.
- 01You send a few linesWhat you do, where you work and who your customers are. I reply usually the same day, and always within 2 business days, with questions or a fixed price.
- 02A deposit books your spotThen you send your logo, photos and details. I write the words with you, design the site and set up your Google Business Profile.
- 03You see it before the balanceYou see your homepage before you pay the balance. Say yes, or tell me what to change. Business Plus is live within 10 working days of getting your content.
- 04It keeps runningYear one of hosting and your domain is included. After that, you can keep it running with us, take it elsewhere, or add an optional care plan. Your accounts stay in your name either way.
I can meet in person anywhere in Auckland. Everywhere else in New Zealand, we work by email and video call. Web Smart HQ is a trading name of NJD Limited (NZBN 9429047638334).

Who is behind Web Smart HQ?
Nik D’Souza. He started Web Smart HQ in 2022 and does the work himself, from the first message to launch and every update after. He’s based in Titirangi, Auckland.
Who will actually build my website?
Nik will. The person who answers your first email is the person who builds your site, start to finish.
How can a website be $499 when others charge thousands?
Fixed scope, reusable systems that are tested on every build, and no office tower, sales team or account managers to pay for. The open-book breakdown shows where the work goes.
Is Web Smart HQ a registered NZ business?
Yes. Web Smart HQ is a trading name of NJD Limited, a New Zealand company, trading since 2022 and based in Titirangi, Auckland.
What if Nik is away?
Planned leave is shared with clients in advance, and an away message says when he’s back. Your website keeps running on its hosting either way, and every login is in your name.
