Six promises in plain words, six things we’ll never do, and what happens if we fall short.

Short answer
The price is fixed before work starts: $499 + GST for Business Lite or $899 + GST for Business Plus. You see your homepage before you pay the balance. Business Plus is live within 10 working days of getting your content. Your domain, content, Google profile and analytics are in your name, and there’s no lock-in.

See it before you pay the balance
A deposit books your spot. You see your homepage design before you pay the balance, and if it isn't right, tell us what to change.

Fixed price
The price is agreed before any work starts. Anything extra is quoted first, and nothing goes on your bill without your yes.

Live in 10 working days
Business Plus is live within 10 working days of getting your content: your logo, photos and details. The clock pauses while we wait on you. Business Lite is usually quicker.

In your name
Your domain, content, Google profile and analytics are in your name. We host the site, and you can move it any time.

We reply within 2 business days
Every email gets a real reply from the people doing your work. You won't be left wondering.

No lock-in
Leave any time. We hand over every login so you can carry on without us.

We’ll never…
- No cold callsWe won't ring you out of the blue. You contact us when you're ready.
- No lock-in contractsNo minimum terms and no being held hostage by your own website.
- No fake reviewsEvery review we show is real and quoted word for word. We won't write reviews for you, either.
- No ranking guaranteesNobody can guarantee rankings, and Google says so. We promise the work, not the result.
- No keyword-stuffed business namesWe won't rename your Google listing to "Best Plumber Auckland Cheap". It breaks Google's rules and can get you suspended.
- No passing your work alongThe people you talk to are the people who do your work, here in Auckland.
If we fall short
Tell us. Email hello@websmarthq.com and say what went wrong. We’ll get back to you and put it right.
We’d rather fix a problem than argue about it. If we’ve missed a date or got something wrong, we’ll say so, tell you what we’re doing about it, and do it.
Your quote sets out the payment terms for your job. If anything in it isn’t clear, ask before you agree to it.

What happens if you break one of these promises?
Tell us, and we’ll put it right. Email hello@websmarthq.com with what happened. We’ll own the mistake, and tell you exactly what we’re doing to fix it. We’d rather sort a problem quickly than argue about wording.
What does "fixed price" cover, and what could change it?
It covers everything in your quote. For Business Lite and Business Plus, that includes the package items on our pricing page. The price only changes if you ask for something extra, and even then we quote it first. Nothing goes on your bill without your yes.
What does "no lock-in" mean in practice?
You can leave whenever you like. There’s no minimum term. Your domain, content, Google Business Profile and analytics are already in your name. We hand over every login, so you can move to someone else or look after it yourself.
Can I get a refund if I'm not happy?
You see your homepage before you pay the balance, so you never pay in full for a design you haven’t seen. If you’re unhappy after that, tell us and we’ll put it right. The payment terms for your job are in your quote. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act still apply where it covers you.
Do these promises cover SEO and Google Ads too?
Most do. A fixed price, your accounts in your name, quick replies and no lock-in apply to all our work. “See it before you pay the balance” and “live in 10 working days” are about website builds. SEO and Google Ads are quoted after a quick look, and nobody can promise rankings or results.
