Websites by industry, built around how your customers choose
A plumber’s customer and an accountant’s client decide in very different ways. Your website should match how yours do.
Usually same day, always within 2 business days.
Short answer
We build websites for four kinds of NZ business most often: tradies, cafés and restaurants, sole traders and creatives, and professional services. The packages are the same for all: $499 + GST for one page, or $899 + GST for five. What changes is the job your site does first. Calls, menus, bookings or trust.
Pick your kind of business
Each page covers what that kind of site must do, the questions owners ask us, and which package usually fits.
- 01
Tradies
Calls and quotesBuilders, plumbers, sparkies, painters, landscapers, roofers. The site’s first job: turn a Google search into a call or a quote request. Usually Business Plus, for service and project pages.
- 02
Cafés and restaurants
Menus and hoursThe first job: show your menu, hours and location on a phone, and match what Google says. Business Lite often does it. Business Plus suits a menu, functions and a gallery.
- 03
Sole traders and creatives
Look establishedPhotographers, coaches, trainers, salons, makers. The first job: look established, show your work and make getting in touch easy. Business Lite usually fits.
- 04
Professional services
Trust firstAccountants, lawyers, consultants and advisers. The first job: earn trust with credentials, people and clear services. Business Plus, with a page for each.
How customers choose, by industry
This is the thinking behind each site. It shapes what goes at the top of the homepage.
| Business | What the customer wants first | What the site leads with | Usual package |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tradie | Someone reliable who can come soon | Services, areas, contact, reviews | Business Plus |
| Café or restaurant | Are you open, and what is on the menu? | Menu, hours, map, photos | Lite or Plus |
| Sole trader or creative | Is this person good, and are they legit? | Your work, your story, contact | Business Lite |
| Professional practice | Can I trust them with my money or problem? | Credentials, people, services | Business Plus |

Industries FAQ
Straight answers. Can’t see yours? Ask us.
Do you specialise in any industries?
We build most often for four kinds of business: tradies, cafés and restaurants, sole traders and creatives, and professional services. Each has its own page explaining what the site must do first. That focus means we know what customers in each one look for. But the principles carry across, so we work with plenty of other local businesses too.
My industry isn't listed. Can you still help?
Almost certainly. Mechanics, cleaners, physios, dog groomers and driving instructors all need the same basics. Say what you do and where, show proof, make contact easy, and get your Google profile right. Tell us how your customers usually find you and choose. We’ll shape the site around that, using the same two packages.
Do industry websites cost more?
No. The packages are the same for every industry: Business Lite at $499 + GST for one page, and Business Plus at $899 + GST for five. If you need something bigger, like an online shop or a booking system, that’s a Business Pro build. We price that before anything starts, so nothing is added without a yes.
Which package suits my type of business?
As a rule of thumb, Business Lite suits sole traders and creatives, and smaller cafés. One page covers who you are, your work and how to get in touch. Business Plus suits tradies and professional practices. Separate pages for services, projects and people give Google more to work with, and customers more reasons to trust you.
Does an industry website take longer to build?
No. Business Plus is live within 10 working days of getting your content: your logo, photos and details. The clock pauses if we’re waiting on you. Business Lite is usually quicker. The industry changes what goes on the pages, not how long it takes. You see your homepage before you pay the balance, whatever you do.
